TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Right of Admission is reserved:

Right of admission is reserved, and all passengers bear the sole risk of injury to their person or loss or damage to their property from whatsoever cause arising, and they acknowledge that they waive and abandon any claim or claims which they may have against the owners, master or crew of the vessel arising from any cause whatsoever including the negligent action or omission of the owners, master or crew of the vessel.

2. Booking and Payment Terms:

  • Deposit: A deposit of 50% of the total booking amount is required at the time of booking to confirm your reservation.

  •  Final Payment: The remaining 50% must be paid in full at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure of the cruise or charter.

  •  NonPayment: Failure to pay the remaining balance on time may result in the cancellation of your booking without a refund.

3. Cancellation and Refund Policy:

3.1 Cancellation by the Customer:

Notice Requirement: All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to info@lecat.co.za.

 Refund Schedule:

  • More than 14 Days Before Departure: A full refund minus a 20% administrative fee of the total booking amount.

  • 7 to 14 Days Before Departure: A refund of 65% of the total booking amount.

  • 2 to 6 Days Before Departure: A refund of 50% of the total booking amount.

  • Less Than 48 Hours Before Departure: No refund will be provided.

3.2 Cancellation by Le Cat Yacht Charters:

  • Full Refund: If Le Cat Yacht Charters cancels the cruise for any reason (Weather, Mechanical Issues, or Safety Concerns), customers will receive a full refund with no deductions if payment was made via local EFT transfer.

  • Processing Fees: If the payment was made via payment portals, a processing fee will be applied on the refund.

  • Liability: Le Cat Yacht Charters will not be held liable for any additional losses incurred by the person or company chartering the vessel.

4. Rebooking Policy:

  • Rebooking Requests: Customers may request to change their booking date or time by submitting a written request to info@lecat.co.za at least 7 days before the scheduled departure. A maximum of one rebooking is permitted per booking, subject to availability. A rebooking fee of 10% of the total booking amount will apply to cover administrative costs. No rebooking is allowed within 48 hours of the scheduled departure. Repeated postponements or failure to confirm a new date within 14 days of the original request may result in the booking being treated as cancelled, subject to the cancellation policy outlined in clause 3.1.

5. Footwear Policy:

  • All passengers and guests are required to remove their shoes before boarding.

6. Alcohol Policy:

  • Passengers and guests are prohibited from bringing alcoholic beverages on board. All alcohol consumed must be purchased from and supplied by Le Cat Yacht Charters.

7. Force Majeure:

  • Skipper may cancel or terminate the charter if deemed necessary for safety or other reasons.

8. Website Terms:

  • By accessing our website, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

  • Names, logos, and trademarks are owned by Le Cat Yacht Charters and cannot be used without written consent.

  • All website material is protected by intellectual property laws and owned by Le Cat Yacht Charters.
